Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Project Manager for Ubuntu Embedded Systems. The role oversees delivery of Ubuntu images across devices, coordinating Canonical's engineering teams with customers. You will manage complex, high-profile projects and work with partners/vendors globally.

The position is remote, based in the APAC region, and requires aligning project schedules, managing risks, and supporting non-standard hours across time zones.

Qualifications

• Solid project management experience delivering engineering services to customers.
• Experience managing cross-cultural, multi-region project resources (Asia/Europe/Americas preferred).
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math preferred.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Open Source software communities; understanding of computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through their full life cycle; ensure goals for Canonical and clients are met.
• Deliver engineering services for assigned projects to customers.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on board enablement and Ubuntu image delivery.
• Draft and maintain project statements of work and schedules; obtain client agreement.
