Canonical is seeking a Product Manager in Hardware Certification responsible for leading the roadmap and engaging with OEMs. This role is pivotal for shaping engineering efforts and ensuring go-to-market effectiveness. The role is remote-based within the EMEA region and requires a strong understanding of Linux and exceptional communication skills in English.

The successful candidate will work in a distributed setting, enjoy personal development opportunities, and contribute to the evolution of the open-source software landscape.

Qualifications

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Understanding of Linux and the wider open source community.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the roadmap of our Hardware Certification effort and drive partnership with OEMs.
• Work with engineering to shape the development roadmap for the Hardware Certification scheme.
• Define future business models taking into account the competitive landscape.
• Engage with the Ubuntu user community, key partners, OEMs and leading customers.
