Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Project Manager for Ubuntu Embedded Systems to coordinate the delivery of Ubuntu images across devices, from robots to PCs. You will align engineering teams with customers, craft project plans, and drive on-time delivery while managing risks and stakeholders worldwide.

The role is remote in AMERICAs and/or EMEA, with travel up to four times per year. A STEM degree and strong English communication are essential; PMP/PMI or PRINCE2 is preferred.

Qualifications

Solid project management experience delivering engineering services to customers.
Experience managing cross-cultural resources in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Degree in a STEM field is preferred.
Good knowledge of Linux and open source software community.

Responsibilities

Coordinate large complex customer-facing projects from start to finish.
Liaise between Canonical engineering teams and customers.
Develop project statements of work and schedules.
Manage risks and ensure on-time delivery across regions.
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders.
