Job summary

Gearset Limited is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the infrastructure that powers our scalable SaaS platform. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform to securely deploy updates across multiple regions, while collaborating with developers to ensure smooth integration between application and infrastructure.

You will drive security improvements, automate operations, and contribute to a high-autonomy team culture focused on delivering measurable value to customers.

Qualifications

• In-depth practical experience with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, Postgres RDS, S3, EKS)
• Experience running production services in Kubernetes and managing clusters
• Practical experience automating infrastructure with Terraform
• Experience configuring and running CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting hosted multi-tenant SaaS at scale

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve Gearset infrastructure to scale with an expanding user base
• Collaborate with developers to ensure harmony between app and infra and safe release of updates
• Lead initiatives to fortify security measures and protect customer data
• Contribute expertise to a self-directed, autonomous team and its roadmap
