Job summary

Gearset Limited in the UK is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to own and scale our multi-region AWS-based infrastructure. You’ll work with Kubernetes, Terraform and .NET to keep a secure, reliable service while enabling rapid product updates several times per day.

Collaborate with developers, designers, data engineers and sales to improve automation, observability and alerting, and strengthen security. This is a remote role with strong autonomy and a real influence on our technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• In-depth AWS experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, EKS) and strong CI/CD skills.
• Experience in agile teams with value-driven delivery.
• Experience building observability and alerting into systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation to support frequent product updates in a safe manner.
• Improve security of infrastructure and detection/response capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, data engineers, marketers and sales to impact customers.
