Job summary

Gearset Limited is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to help build a scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS platform. The role offers high autonomy to shape the technical roadmap and work across a global infrastructure powered by AWS and Kubernetes, with multi-region deployments.

You will collaborate with developers, data engineers and marketing to maintain low downtime, automate releases multiple times per day, and strengthen security.

Qualifications

• In-depth practical experience with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, EKS).
• Experience running production Kubernetes services and managing clusters.
• Terraform infrastructure automation experience.
• CI/CD pipeline configuration and operation experience.
• Experience supporting hosted multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
• Strong communication and feedback skills.
• Pragmatic, iterative approach delivering value over process.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve multi-tenant infrastructure across regions on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure harmony between app and infra with safe, smooth deployments.
• Lead security initiatives to protect customer data.
• Build and maintain automation enabling frequent product releases.
• Improve security monitoring and incident response.
• Support cross-functional teams to impact customers.
