Job summary

Gearset Limited is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to build and run our multi-region, multi-tenant AWS/Kubernetes-based SaaS. You’ll shape the technical roadmap with high autonomy and own production infrastructure, enabling rapid feature releases with secure, scalable operations.

Collaborate with developers, data engineers and product teams to strengthen security, observability, and reliability, while delivering value through pragmatic, iterative improvements.

Qualifications

• In-depth practical experience with AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, Postgres RDS, S3, EKS).
• Experience running production Kubernetes services and managing clusters.
• Automation of infrastructure with Terraform.
• Experience configuring and running a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience supporting hosted multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
• Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Pragmatic, iterative delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve infrastructure to scale for a growing SaaS user base.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure harmony of app and infrastructure and safe rollouts.
• Lead security initiatives to protect customer data.
• Deliver infrastructure that supports cross-team work across Gearset.
• Contribute expertise to a self-directed team with roadmap autonomy.
