Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Risk Engineer for the Power Sector. The role is remote within the UK, permanent, and involves conducting risk surveys at power facilities, producing detailed engineering reports, and supporting risk placement in international markets.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of power industry technologies, project management experience, and proficiency with simulation tools. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance or Broking is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of power industry technologies.
• Experience with risk management and site surveys.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standard risk engineering surveys for the Power industry, including 2-3 day site visits.
• Produce reports detailing site operations, loss prevention features, site rankings, recommendations and damage estimations using modelling software.
• Carry out risk assessments of operational power plants and review new projects for power clients.
• Support the Power Broking team in placing risks in international insurance markets.
• Manage and develop the Engineering Management System.
