Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Plant Manager to lead Operations, Maintenance and Reliability across conventional power, wind and solar projects. This remote UK role requires strategic oversight, risk management and strong leadership of engineering teams.

You will implement tools to optimize performance, collaborate with underwriters and insureds, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and compliance. Ten years plus engineering experience in large power projects are expected.

Qualifications

• More than ten years of hands-on engineering experience, primarily in power generation for large and complex projects.
• Insurance engineering experience with a recognised lead insurer or reinsurer is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member

Responsabilités

• Provide risk management advice through effective communication and evaluation of risk exposures.
• Develop and implement tools to deliver the best possible solutions for controlling and reducing financial risk, focusing on knowledge, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain and develop continuous professional engineering knowledge and resources within areas of expertise.
• Enhance communication effectiveness and management relationships to maintain credibility as a leading professional and ethical insurer to clients, brokers, and the insurance market.
• Develop and prioritise objectives for performing visits within technical risk management programmes in collaboration with underwriters and insureds' management and brokers.
• Foster a continuous improvement philosophy within the team and workflow management.
• Expand knowledge beyond core expertise to support underwriting and claims functions through education and training.
