Job summary

Warwickshire Police is seeking a Digital Services Systems Administrator to join the Leek Wootton team. The role provides expert support for multiple policing systems, including confidential ones, and oversees user access via Active Directory and Sailpoint IdentityNow.

It requires 37 hours weekly, a full-time permanent contract, and a Grade E salary. The role emphasises delivering a resilient service, adapting across systems, and maintaining security, with duties spanning upgrades, testing, and

Qualifications

• Educated to A Level or equivalent.
• Detailed working knowledge of IT systems within a large organisation.
• Understanding confidentiality and sensitive data.
• Highly developed IT skills including Active Directory and Sailpoint IdentityNow administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide a resilient system administration and analytical service for all IT systems including sensitive operational systems, ensuring tickets meet OLAs and SLAs.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide guidance and technical expertise across systems.
• Deliver customer updates and own issues from initial contact to resolution.
• Coordinate with service providers and internal developers on access and configuration changes to improve effectiveness.
• Manage system upgrades and patches with detailed test scripts and sign-off by System Owners.
