ReVybe IT Recruitment Limited is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager for a fintech scaleup. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, owning the cloud platform and guiding three engineers.

You will shape the platform evolution, implement best practices, and drive architecture decisions to scale the business. You will balance hands-on delivery with people leadership, using Terraform and Kubernetes, and coordinating across engineering leadership to ensure secure, scalable

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building and scaling cloud platforms.
• Leadership experience overseeing engineers and delivering results.
• Strong CI/CD discipline and automation practices.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own platform engineering roadmap and technical direction.
• Mentor and lead a three-person team, fostering collaboration.
• Spend ~50% hands-on building cloud infra and platform services.
• Drive design of Azure-based infrastructure and cloud-native tech.
• Champion Terraform and IaC to deliver repeatable infra.
• Lead containerisation using Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps.
• Improve deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Set architectural patterns and engineering standards across the platform.
• Embed cloud security practices and governance in the platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
