Job summary

CCL Global is seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to support major UK power and energy projects. This role leads multidisciplinary design activities from design development through to construction and commissioning, coordinating interfaces across civil, electrical and mechanical teams.

The successful candidate will work from home with UK site visits and London office touchpoints, delivering 400 MW+ scale projects while managing design risks, governance, and supplier interfaces.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading design delivery on large power/energy projects.
• Experience delivering 400 MW+ projects.
• Strong coordination across civil, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience taking major projects from design into construction.
• Excellent governance, risk, and interfaces management.
• Willingness to travel to sites from home-based work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design delivery across major power projects.
• Manage design programmes, deliverables, interfaces and milestones.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical disciplines.
• Interface between design, engineering, construction and project delivery.
• Manage consultants, subcontractors and external design partners.
• Lead design reviews and ensure solutions are safe, compliant and constructible.
• Manage design risks, technical queries, changes and project interfaces.
• Ensure design information is delivered in line with programme and construction requirements.
• Support projects through design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
