Job summary

Quantum Solutions seeks an experienced Patent Attorney to own and manage our patent portfolio on a flexible, project-based basis. You will draft patent applications, respond to patent offices, and guide deadlines and actions in collaboration with the CEO and project leads.

You will leverage AI-enabled tools for research, drafting, and workflow efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and professional judgment.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified Patent Attorney or equivalent professional qualification.
• STEM degree or substantial technical background.
• Experience using generative AI and AI tools in patent research, drafting, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the patent portfolio on a project basis.
• Draft patent applications, claims, and descriptions; respond to office actions.
• Coordinate with CEO and project leads on deadlines, milestones, and costs.
• Identify patentable inventions with the technical team and translate concepts into robust disclosures.
• Apply professional judgment and confidentiality controls when using AI in legal work.
