Job summary

Impact HR is seeking a part-time Group Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for three group companies. This remote role has preferred locations in Northamptonshire or Milton Keynes, and reports to the Group Management Accountant.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable, maintain bookkeeping records, and support financial processes across the group. This is ideal for a developing accounting professional seeking growth in a SME environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience bookkeeping or accounting.
• Strong grades in Mathematics.
• Ideally working towards an Accounting qualification such as AAT.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent prioritising and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for 3 companies, reporting to the Group Management Accountant.
• Oversee core bookkeeping elements with opportunities for additional tasks and development.
• Process and approve supplier invoices; reconcile bank statements; monitor accounts mailboxes.
• Raise Sales invoices for 2-3 entities; chase overdue invoices and resolve queries.
