Job summary

Our client is seeking a part-time Financial Controller to bolster the finance function on an initial 6-month FTC with a view to longer-term permanent role. The successful candidate will work fully remote and be ACA or ACCA qualified with a hands-on and adaptable mindset.

The role focuses on monthly management accounts, supporting financial schedules, consolidating statutory accounting and VAT returns, and ensuring robust controls across the function.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Experience operating robust control environments.
• Experience with month-end and year-end processes including statutory accounts and audit delivery.
• Strong IT skills (advanced Excel and intermediate Word).

Responsibilities

• Producing full monthly management accounts.
• Cash flow and forecast updates.
• Consolidated statutory accounts and annual return.
• Restricted funds and trusts management.
• Balance sheet controls.
• VAT compliance.
