Job summary

The Part-Time Finance People are seeking a Part-time Financial Controller to work with SMEs in Warrington and surrounding areas. You will lead the finance function on a two-day-per-week, self-employed basis, handling management accounts, cashflow planning and financial controls.

Ideal candidates are fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE with 5+ years in finance leadership and experience managing a small team. Onsite work two days weekly; rate £35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Financial Controller with SME experience.
• Self-employed candidate available quickly (2 days/week).
• Experience and leadership of a small finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for client SMEs on a part-time basis.
• Prepare and present management accounts, budgets and cashflow forecasts.
• Implement and oversee internal financial controls and year-end processes (not statutory accounts).
