Job summary

Assize Data Ltd, a UK-based data business, is hiring a part-time role to work on the whole business from a remote setup. The role is 4-6 hours per week, around your main job or studies, with no fixed hours and asynchronous communication.

You will contribute to cloud and local infrastructure, backend systems, databases, user interfaces, analytics, SEO and general operations. Training provided and responsibility grows as you prove yourself.

Qualifications

• Curious and eager to learn independently.
• Strong written communication skills for async work.
• Attention to detail and careful handling of data.
• Reliable and able to meet commitments.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Work across the business, not a single area, including infra, backend, frontend, analytics, SEO and operations.
• No prior experience required; training provided and increasing responsibility over time.
• Learn the codebase and data, make small improvements via pull requests.
• Contribute to short written proposals (RFCs).
