Job summary

Best Practice Network is seeking an NPQ Apprenticeship Performance Manager to lead the delivery of NPQ programmes. You will report to the Programme Director and collaborate with Apprenticeship Tutors, Compliance and Impact Manager, and cross-functional teams.

Location is remote with Bristol office travel required (6 times per year). The role focuses on leadership of programme performance, KPI delivery, staff development and funding compliance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience driving quality learning and achieving learner start and completion targets.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Apprenticeships and funding streams.
  • Proven experience of working within a similar Operations/Performance Manager role with recent experience in Apprenticeships.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • High level of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Have strong IT skills and be able to work with e-portfolios and a variety of software platforms.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to work with people at all levels and to develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Have a good understanding of Ofsted requirements.
  • Excellent time-keeping skills and be able to work on your own initiative, prioritising your workload at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Lead programme leadership for NPQ Apprenticeship delivery and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Recruit, manage and support a team of Apprenticeship Tutors.
  • Set monthly KPIs and ensure timely completion of apprenticeship elements.
  • Train new Apprenticeship Tutors in systems, ILPs and funding guidelines.
  • Monitor and improve compliance with funding, regulatory and inspectorate requirements.
  • Capture and report progress, develop CPD and maintain quality improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Finance and Administration for a cohesive learner experience.
  • Support safeguarding policies and health and safety across programmes.
