Job summary

NVQ Assessor is seeking an experienced professional to manage a caseload of Apprenticeship learners from home, delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with Standards. You will motivate, engage and stretch learners to achieve targets with strong employer engagement to ensure active involvement in programmes.

The role requires delivering Level 5 Management programmes, using OneFile, and maintaining robust records. Travel to SCL sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Level 5 Management programmes
• Assessment and teaching qualifications at Level 5 or higher
• Proven ability to work with Apprenticeships/Standards and ESFA requirements
• Proficient in using OneFile e-portfolio system

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Apprenticeship learners to targets
• Design and deliver teaching, learning and assessment sessions
• Maintain accurate learner records and report performance
• Provide constructive feedback for progression and stretch
• Engage with employers to involve them in Apprenticeship Programmes
• Prepare learners for EPA and outcomes
• Travel to SCL sites and Support Centre as required
