Job summary

Drnewitt is seeking a Product & NPD Manager for its nutritional powders and supplements portfolio. The role is fully remote within the UK, offering ownership of product development and launch strategies across the range.

You will work with suppliers, contract manufacturers and internal teams to deliver high-quality products, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in product development.
• Background in powders, nutritional supplements, protein products or medical nutrition.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 principles.
• Experience managing projects within an NPD environment.
• Excellent supplier management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end NPD process from concept through development and launch.
• Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers and contract packers.
• Develop manufacturing partnerships and secure long-term supply and contingency arrangements.
• Provide technical expertise across product development, especially powders and nutritional products.
• Collaborate with marketing to deliver product innovation aligned with business goals.
• Manage project timelines, processes and KPIs for successful delivery.
• Ensure all developments meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Apply structured, process-driven project management and continuous improvement.
