Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Core Network Lead based in the United Kingdom to drive the design, integration, and deployment of Full MVNO core systems and to lead a specialized team of engineers and QA professionals across global rollout projects.

You will own network architecture, signaling protocols, and regulatory compliance, overseeing end-to-end service readiness from architecture through handover to 24/7 operations in a fully remote, international environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design, integration, or operation of mobile core networks.
• Leading engineers and QA in agile environments.
• Experience with HSS/HLR, VoLTE, policy and charging.
• Knowledge of Diameter, SS7, SIP and signaling troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and QA across global rollout projects.
• Establish engineering standards, templates, and handover docs.
• Lead operator integrations across signalling, packet core, voice, messaging.
• Own MVNO core network design and components incl HSS/HLR, packet core.
• Oversee Diameter/SS7/SIP signaling implementation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure end-to-end service readiness for data, voice, SMS including VoLTE.
• Design and validate number portability routing per country rules.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across markets (ETSI ES 201 671 etc).
• Define and execute integration test plans with QA.
• Lead Operational Readiness Reviews and handover to 24/7 ops.
• Identify opportunities for automation and reliability improvements.
