Job summary

Eaton is seeking experienced MV switchgear commissioning engineers to join our expanding UK team. You will lead installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Eaton MV/HV equipment across varied customer sites, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in power distribution testing and commissioning.
• Ability to test/commission large MV to HV installations.
• Protection relay programming experience.
• Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA.
• Leadership and coaching mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and fault finding of MV/HV equipment.
• Serve as main customer contact during projects.
• Mentor service engineers, promoting safety and excellence.
• Collaborate with project management to hit delivery targets.
