Job summary
Eaton is seeking skilled MV Switchgear Commissioning Engineers to join our expanding UK team. You will lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance of MV/HV equipment, acting as the main customer contact on projects across the UK and Europe.
The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, hands-on testing/commissioning experience, and willingness to travel across the EMEA region. A safety-first, collaborative environment supports ongoing technical development.
Qualifications
- Experience in power distribution testing and commissioning.
- Ability to test and commission large MV to HV installations.
- Proficiency in protection relay programming.
- Strong IT and computer literacy with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel and stay away as needed across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation and perform maintenance, commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton MV/HV equipment.
- Act as the primary customer contact during project execution.
- Support and mentor other service engineers, promoting safety and excellence.
- Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and boost customer satisfaction.
