Job summary

Bupa is recruiting a Virtual Advanced Practice Physiotherapist Lead Therapist to shape and lead MSK services from home, with occasional attendance at Bupa Centres in Salford Quays or similar locations. The role blends clinical practice with leadership, developing APPs and EPPs while driving service excellence.

You will provide expert MSK care, oversee governance, audits, feedback handling, and mentor clinicians, supporting recruitment and onboarding while maintaining your own clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Registered Advanced Practice Physiotherapist with HCPC registration.
• Significant post-graduate experience in musculoskeletal medicine.
• Experience in leadership, mentoring or people management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to APPs and EPPs across the MSK service.
• Deliver regular MSK clinical sessions with high patient care standards.
• Review customer feedback, complaints, incidents and clinical risks.
• Conduct clinical audits and support quality assurance.
• Lead implementation of clinical policies and governance.
• Mentor clinicians through coaching and supervision.
• Support recruitment, induction and onboarding of new clinicians.
• Monitor clinical performance and drive service improvement.
