Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is recruiting for a Monitoring and Data Analyst in the renewable energy sector. The role focuses on remote monitoring of solar farm performance, KPI tracking, and data-driven reporting across multiple platforms.

You will work with project managers and field teams to diagnose faults, optimise asset performance and maintain asset information within the CMMS. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor and analyse the performance of solar farms using multiple monitoring platforms.
• Manage and triage system alarms, ensuring faults are identified and escalated promptly.
• Calculate, track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with Project Managers and field teams to support fault diagnosis and corrective actions.
• Collect, validate, analyse and report operational and performance data.
