Afterpay in the UK is seeking an outbound Account Executive to drive sales to mid-market merchants, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Qualifications

• 5+ years of full cycle sales experience.
• Proven track record of delivering or exceeding targets.
• Experience selling at senior executive level and above.
• Experience in e-commerce, payments, fintech or retail.
• Formal sales and negotiation training.
• Able to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Outbound prospecting via email and phone to generate new opportunities.
• Manage the entire sales funnel from initial contact to close.
• Engage with senior executives and business owners at target accounts.
• Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities and identify key value propositions.
• Negotiate and close long-term contracts that benefit both sides.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing and finance to define contracts.
