Job summary

Serco is seeking a Management Information Analyst to turn data into actionable business insights. The role is home-based with regular travel to Kirkby, Liverpool, and other sites as needed.

You will deliver accurate reporting, build Power BI dashboards, and support transformation initiatives to improve performance across the Skills and Employability unit. You will work with stakeholders to deliver MI solutions, ensure governance, and contribute to continuous improvement within the analytics

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data translation.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas, Power Query, VBA, Data Models.
• Experience with Power BI: data modelling, dashboards, reports.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational databases; query writing.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Producing BAU and ad-hoc reporting with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel for stakeholders.
• Analyse operational performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Manage reporting requests through ticketing systems and SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Support implementation and transformation of new systems and tools.
• Maintain reporting governance and data protection compliance.
• Build strong relationships with operations and senior stakeholders.
