Job summary

Us3 Consulting is seeking a BI Analyst to deliver end-to-end Power BI reporting solutions within a fast-paced, hybrid environment in Manchester. You will engage stakeholders, define low-level design and data mappings, and produce dashboards and scheduled extracts.

The role requires strong SQL, DAX/Power Query, and experience with data integration tools. You will collaborate across workstreams to ensure timely delivery and maintain documentation and handover materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Power BI reporting solutions.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience with Power BI Dataflows and DAX/Power Query.
• Experience with Agile delivery in hybrid environments.
• Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather and define low-level reporting requirements.
• Define detailed data field lists, transformations and mappings to support data extraction and modelling.
• Design wireframes and prototypes for reporting outputs including Power BI dashboards.
• Develop SQL scripts to extract, join and transform data from data lake and other sources.
• Deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards with performance and usability in mind.
• Support testing and defect resolution in Agile sprints and ensure timely re-testing.
• Produce clear documentation covering requirements, designs, and data logic.
• Operate independently within fast-paced delivery to maintain momentum.
