Job summary

Havas Lynx Group is seeking a Medical Editor for a 3-month FTC, remote UK-based. You will ensure accuracy of medical content, proofread materials, and apply scientific rigor across therapy areas, while collaborating with the medical writing team and clients.

This role requires 2+ years in medical editing within an agency, a science degree, and familiarity with ABPI guidelines. Join a leading healthcare advertising group delivering impactful campaigns and high-quality content.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience with global pharmaceutical companies and working with clients.
• Solid scientific background across therapy areas.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development process, and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across materials.
• Understand ABPI codes of practice and legislation.
• Know clients and projects, including therapy areas and portfolios.
• Collaborate with medical writing teams to meet projects objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines and update the team on changes.
