Havas Lynx Group is seeking a Medical Editor for a 3-month FTC, based remotely in the UK. The role involves ensuring accuracy of medical content, proofreading for medical correctness, and applying rigorous industry guidelines across a range of materials.

You will work with the medical writing team to meet budgets and timelines while supporting client projects. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in an agency setting, solid science background, and experience with global pharmaceutical clients, with

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Solid scientific background with therapy area exposure.
• Ability to learn new therapy areas quickly and confidently.
• Degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct and accurate.
• Apply proofreading to ensure medical accuracy of materials.
• Demonstrate medical editing knowledge across materials.
• Understand industry codes of practice and ABPI guidelines.
• Know clients and projects, therapy areas and portfolios.
• Collaborate with medical writing teams to meet projects and objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines, updating the team on changes.
