Havas Lynx Group in the UK is seeking a Medical Editor for a 3-month FTC, with remote UK-based candidates considered. You will ensure medical accuracy, edit and proofread diverse materials, and collaborate with the medical writing team to deliver on time and on budget.

The role requires 2+ years in an agency setting, pharma exposure, and a science degree; ABPI awareness is desirable, with a supportive environment and opportunities to learn.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• A solid scientific background and experience across therapeutic areas.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development, and industry guidelines.
• Degree in Science.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading skills to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across materials.
• Understand ABPI codes of practice and regulations.
• Know clients and projects, including therapy areas and portfolios.
• Collaborate with medical writing team to meet projects and objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines, keeping the team updated on changes.
