Job summary

Havas Lynx Group is seeking a Medical Editor for a 3 month FTC in the UK. The role focuses on ensuring medical accuracy across materials, adhering to ABPI guidelines, and collaborating with the medical writing team to deliver on projects for pharmaceutical brands. Remote UK-based candidates are welcome.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in an agency setting, a science degree, and strong communication with clients to manage therapy areas and project needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Solid scientific background with experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Ability to learn new therapy areas quickly and confidently for clients.
• Degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development process, and industry guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across materials.
• Understand ABPI codes of practice and regulations.
• Know clients and their projects, therapy areas, and portfolios.
• Collaborate with medical writing teams to meet project objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines, keeping the team updated on changes.
