Havas Lynx Group in Warrington, UK, invites applications for a Medical Editor on a 3-month FTC, remote UK-based. You’ll ensure content accuracy, medical correctness, and support across therapy areas in a fast-paced healthcare advertising environment.

With 2+ years agency experience, you’ll work with global pharma clients, ABPI guidelines, and collaborate with the medical writing team to deliver on pitches and client accounts, while adhering to budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• A solid scientific background and experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Ability to learn new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively.
• A degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and industry guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the information and data is correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading skills to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across a range of materials.
• Understand industry codes of practice and ABPI.
• Know clients and their projects, including therapy areas and portfolios.
• Work with other medical writing team members to meet projects and objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines, updating the team on changes.
