Job summary

Havas Lynx Group is seeking a Medical Editor for a 3‑month FTC with remote UK availability. Based in the UK, you will ensure medical accuracy across materials, edit content to the highest standards, and collaborate with the medical writing team to deliver campaigns that comply with ABPI guidelines.

The role requires agency experience, a science degree, and a strong pharma background across several therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Solid scientific background with multiple therapeutic areas.
• Ability to learn new therapy areas quickly and confidently.
• Degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development, and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate medical editing knowledge across materials.
• Understand ABPI codes of practice and legislation.
• Know clients and projects, including therapy areas and portfolios.
• Collaborate with medical writing teams to meet objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines, updating the team on changes.
