Job summary

A senior Mechanical Estimating Manager role is available with a leading MEP contractor. The position involves taking ownership of the mechanical estimating function for major projects and leading tenders from enquiry to handover, with responsibility for tender strategy and commercial risk management.

Remit includes building and leading a Mechanical Estimating team, managing relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients, and identifying value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ownership of the Mechanical Estimating function for major MEP projects.
• Lead high-value tenders from enquiry to submission and handover.
• Develop tender strategies and review complex mechanical estimates.
• Build, develop and manage a Mechanical Estimating team.
• Manage supplier, subcontractor and client relationships.
• Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-value tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover.
• Develop tender strategies and review complex mechanical estimates.

• Manage key supplier, subcontractor and client relationships.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Fully remote for the first 3-4 months.
