Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a remote, UK-wide role within a major water sector programme. The contract runs for 18 months and focuses on mechanical design across water and wastewater projects, including pumps and MEICA systems.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with electrical, civil and process disciplines, delivering design across the lifecycle and producing technical information for review and delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical design engineering experience.
• Experience with pumps, pumping systems and/or pumping stations is desirable.
• Good understanding of mechanical and MEICA engineering.

Responsibilities

• Delivering mechanical design across water and wastewater projects.
• Developing mechanical engineering solutions throughout the design lifecycle.
• Supporting the design of pumps, pumping systems and pumping stations.
• Producing and reviewing technical design information.
• Coordinating mechanical requirements with electrical, civil and process disciplines.
• Supporting the integration of mechanical equipment within treatment facilities.
• Contributing to multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Resolving technical and coordination issues.
• Supporting projects through design development and technical delivery.
