Job summary

Confidential is recruiting an experienced Liability Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims on behalf of insurer and corporate clients. The role offers a supportive, technically focused environment with clear development opportunities.

Key responsibilities include handling liability negotiations, liaising with solicitors and loss adjusters, and ensuring claims are processed in line with FCA and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Employers' Liability and/or Public Liability claims.
• Strong understanding of liability principles and claims processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage varied caseloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims.
• Review liability, quantum and coverage.
• Identify fraud or third-party involvement where relevant.
• Instruct and liaise with solicitors, loss adjusters and other external suppliers.
