Job summary

Twilio in the United Kingdom is seeking a Legal Services Manager to join its Center of Excellence within the Legal Operations Team. You will vet high-volume legal work, negotiate NDAs and SOWs, and support operational projects to streamline legal processes.

Remote-first role with occasional in-person attendances for team activities. Requires 5+ years in legal operations or contracts, and proficiency with major contracting tools and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Legal Operations Analyst/Manager, Contracts Administrator/Manager, or Paralegal.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial contracts and contracting principles, including drafting and negotiating NDAs, SOWs, assignments, and service orders.
• Experience using commercial contracting tools including Salesforce, Conga, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Airtable, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Experience using AI and understanding of how LLMs can improve day-to-day legal work efficiency.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-first attitude.
• Process-minded, able to work in fast-paced and changing environments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for GTM and Telecom Carrier Relations colleagues and provide education and process guidance on commercial contracts and other legal inquiries.
• Review, vet, and provide timely responses to a high volume of incoming legal requests, ensuring adherence to internal processes and policies.
• Independently review and negotiate NDAs, SOWs, assignment and assumption agreements, transition services agreements, service orders, and other documents on Twilio’s templates and counterparty templates.
• Support law firm eBilling matter creation and configuration, and resolve escalations related to law firm invoices.
• Be an operational expert on all processes that touch the Center of Excellence (e.g., contracting processes, law firm billing processes).
• Contribute knowledge and learnings to the Center of Excellence Playbook.
• Support a range of ad-hoc operational projects and high-volume tasks across multiple legal functions.
