Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is seeking a Learning and Development Advisor to drive training strategies across services and teams. The role is home-based, ideally in the Birmingham, Derbyshire or Leicestershire areas, with regional travel as required.

Qualifications

• This role requires a recognised Learning & Development qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering training and development programmes across the organisation.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practice.
• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities with digital/virtual delivery experience.
• Ability to manage multiple learning initiatives and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with services to promote learning and development opportunities.
• Conduct training needs analyses and develop annual learning plans.
• Advise and guide managers and employees on learning and development opportunities.
• Support national learning initiatives and organisational change programmes.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure high quality learning experiences.
• Review and update learning materials to keep content relevant and engaging.
• Monitor learning outcomes and use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Support manual handling training programmes in partnership with specialist advisors.
