Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a Learner Experience Improvement Officer (Welfare) to ensure high quality learner experiences, safeguarding and welfare support across all delivery situations, providing information, guidance, learning support, induction and assessment to help learners overcome barriers and progress.

You will work with staff and external agencies to ensure safeguarding, wellbeing and online safety, plus travel within the East Riding as needed; remote working

Qualifications

• Experience of working with adults and other agencies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Ability to support learners and remove barriers to learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice and guidance, learning support, induction and assessment to learners.
• Collaborate with staff and external agencies to ensure safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing.
• Promote safeguarding awareness and healthy, safe practices among learners and staff.
