Job summary

BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to deploy and customize agentic AI across customer environments, including on-prem, cloud, or OpenShift. You will own end-to-end features and drive integrations with customer systems and cloud platforms.

The role requires deep Python and AI literacy, multi-team collaboration, and willingness to travel as needed to support key accounts worldwide.

Qualifications

• Typically 8–13 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python and software-engineering fundamentals; LLM/RAG/agents/prompt engineering literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and customize BMC’s agentic AI in customer environments (on-prem, hyperscaler, or OpenShift).
• Take ownership of features and integrations end-to-end with evolving requirements.
• Build integrations with customer systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead complex/strategic accounts technically and align teams across Product, Engineering, Security, and Customer success.
• Define repeatable deployment and value-realization patterns across customers.
