Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Lead Cloud Architect to design and guide the implementation of cloud infrastructure strategies. This fully remote role enables you to architect and oversee cloud solutions from anywhere, with focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

You will define the overall cloud architecture, lead migrations, and provide technical leadership to engineers within a distributed team. A deep understanding of cloud platforms and DevOps practices is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with cloud architecture focus.
Proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale deployments on AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Define cloud strategy, governance policies, and best practices.
Lead cloud migration efforts and optimize existing deployments for performance and cost.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and architects.
Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies to meet business needs.
