Job summary

Placements24 seeks a visionary Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement robust, scalable cloud infrastructure for a leader in the energy transition. This fully remote role lets you shape the technology backbone from anywhere, aiding smart grids and renewable energy management.

You will drive architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, define IaC strategies with Terraform/CloudFormation, and mentor DevOps teams while delivering large-scale data, IoT, and AI/ML workloads in a global,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; 10+ years in IT infra and software dev.
Minimum 5 years in cloud architecture with hands-on delivery across large-scale projects.
Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and related services.
Proven experience with data processing, IoT, and AI/ML workloads.
Solid understanding of IaC principles and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions for energy-related applications.
Develop architectural blueprints and roadmaps for cloud adoption and migration.
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and operations to define infra requirements and deployments.
Lead evaluation and integration of new cloud services to enhance performance and capabilities.
Establish best practices for cloud security, governance, and cost management.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and DevOps teams remotely.
