Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is recruiting for a Junior Legal Counsel specializing in AI and GDPR. This full-time, remote role supports a global privacy and AI governance program, translating complex rules into practical guidance and managing GDPR operations across jurisdictions.

Requirements include a law degree and 1–2 years of hands-on data protection experience, with English fluency and knowledge of GDPR in an international context. Remote work within CET +/-2 hours.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of GDPR in an international context.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Business-fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day GDPR operations, including DPAs and SCCs.
• Conduct vendor privacy reviews and maintain processing records.
• Support AI governance readiness for the EU AI Act.
• Handle data subject requests per data protection requirements.
• Monitor GDPR, EU AI Act, EDPB guidance and case law.
• Translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance for stakeholders.
