Job summary

Datel Advansys is seeking an entry‑level Technical Consultant to join the Advansys team. The role involves monitoring the incident logging system, diagnosing issues and applying fixes or escalating as needed.

You will handle technical support calls, process change requests and triage high priority issues to meet SLAs. The role supports a 24/7 service, with occasional out‑of‑hours work and a shift allowance. Initially office‑based with a shift towards hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows Server 2016–2025 configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting Hyper‑V.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to analyse problems and develop solutions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the incident logging system for new tickets and perform initial diagnosis.
• Apply fixes or escalate to 2nd line when a solution is not readily available.
• Answer technical support calls and carry out change requests on behalf of customers.
• Triage high priority issues, provide directions to meet SLAs, and keep customers informed through resolution.
