Job summary

Focus Group is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to join our Service Delivery team. The role is permanent with a home-based location in the Crawley area and 3-4 days per week visiting customers across the Surrey/Sussex area.

You will act as the technical expert for ICT solutions, delivering across projects and supporting customers both remotely and on-site. A UK driving licence and flexibility for travel are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT support or delivery role.
• Subject matter expert in at least one of Networking, Server & Storage, or Cloud.
• Ability to design solutions within your area of expertise.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong desire to grow technical knowledge and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain ICT solutions for customers on site or remotely.
• Act as escalation point for your area of expertise and handle complex faults.
• Collaborate with project management, 3rd Line Engineers and Service Desk Agents.
• Lead delivery of small, medium and large projects within your area of expertise.
