Job summary

Digital Waffle is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK, a true hunter role focused on opportunities and revenue.

You will generate opportunities across IT infrastructure, networking and technical services, build relationships with IT leaders and procurement teams, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. This remote role requires occasional travel with monthly Birmingham office visits to coordinate with the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a hunter-style Business Development role.
• Background in IT infrastructure, networking, telecoms, cabling or technical services sales.
• Experience selling services rather than SaaS or software platforms.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable generating opportunities through outbound activity and face-to-face engagement.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify and develop opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across IT infrastructure and networking.
• Build relationships with IT leaders, procurement teams and technical decision makers.
• Attend trade shows, networking events and industry meetings.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
• Sell infrastructure, networking and technical support services across a broad client base.
• Build and manage your own pipeline and commercial activity.
• Work closely with leadership on growth strategy and market opportunities.
• Support and guide a small internal commercial team.
