Job summary

AFH Financial Group is seeking an Independent Financial Adviser to service Exeter and Devon. The role is home-based/remote with optional office access and required face-to-face client meetings. You will assess clients' financial goals and craft strategies leading to financial independence.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and CF30 status, with a client-centric approach, strong people skills, and the ability to attract new clients through networking and planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and to maintain CF30 status under FCA regulations.
• Strong client-centric approach and professional presentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and digital communication skills.
• Experience in networking and growing a client base.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes.
• Review clients’ changing needs and financial circumstances, keeping Introducers and clients up to date with new products or changes to legislation.
• Acquire and develop new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers via planning, referrals and lead generation.
• Utilise marketing opportunities including social media and networking to develop new business.
• Maintain good client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars and feedback to the team.
