Job summary

The South West Heritage Trust is seeking an experienced evaluation consultant for the Chew Valley Hoard Project. This role involves evaluating the impact of a major initiative to create a gallery at the Museum of Somerset and an engaging public programme.

The contract is freelance, starting in March 2026 and lasting until June 2028, with a budget of up to £20,000 exclusive of VAT. The position is primarily home-based with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in evaluating major National Lottery Heritage Fund projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Evaluation Plan to assess and evaluate project impact.
• Capture and share learning generated through the project.
