Arts Council England is seeking a Project Manager to deliver the remainder of our Heritage Resilience Fund project. The role supports trustees, develops the business model for long-term sustainability, and coordinates a broad programme of events and room hires.

This fixed-term 18-month contract is based on-site and requires effective budget oversight and strong community engagement. The successful candidate will manage marketing, websites, social media, and engagement with local organisations,

Qualifications

• Experience of project management and fulfillment of funding objectives within the charitable sector.
• Working knowledge of marketing channels and social media, with a track record of developing audiences.
• Experience of design and delivery of events and of working with the public.
• Positive and proactive attitude, and a willingness to work ad hoc hours on site.
• Excellent written communication and ability to adopt an appropriate tone for our audiences.
• Experience of managing a budget.
• Experience of maintaining and developing a website as well as developing presence and raising profile online and in physical copy.

Responsabilités

• Support trustees to fulfil the objective of our Heritage Fund grant and secure long-term financial sustainability.
• Design, coordinate and manage a programme of events, talks and workshops; oversee setup and dismantling and attend events.
• Develop and manage room hire offering; resolve hirer issues and ensure smooth hiring.
• Oversee resolution of items on the risk register within budget.
• Manage all enquiries and marketing activities including design of marketing material and newsletters.
• Manage social media content to grow audiences.
• Oversee day-to-day upkeep of the site, capital spend on buildings and maintenance.
• Develop audience through engagement with onsite visitors and local organisations.
